Alexandra Park is a vibrant downtown community, bordered by Spadina Avenue, Queen Street West, Dundas Street West, and Bathurst Street. It is home to Atkinson Housing Co-operative members and Toronto Seniors Housing and Toronto Community Housing tenants.

Development timeline
2025
- We expect to complete construction of the new high-rise rental building and private condominium at the end of 2025. The new rental townhomes are scheduled to be finished at the same time.
2024
- We expect to continue construction on the new high rise rental building and private condominium, working on the building enclosure. In parallel, we are intending to continue construction on the new rental townhomes, focusing on the building enclosure.
2023
- Construction will continue on the new high rise rental building and private condominium. We expect to build the parking garage and start the above ground building structure. We also plan to start construction on 21 new rental townhomes, located nearby.
2022
- We finished construction of the new roads and servicing infrastructure. Construction began on the new high rise rental building and private condominium at Dundas and Denison. The building is designed as two separate towers, sitting on a shared podium and separated by a park.
2021
- We started construction of the new roads and servicing infrastructure that will service the new buildings. Augusta Ave is being extended north to Dundas, Grange Ave is being extended one block east and Denison Ave is being widened on the east side.
2020
- June – Tridel is selected as the development partner for Phase 2.
- The existing townhouses near Dundas St. West and Denison Ave are demolished in order to start construction.
2019
- SQ2 market condo building construction completed.
2018
- December – Phase 2 Rezoning application submitted to the City of Toronto.
- Fall – Phase 1B rental townhouse construction completed.
2017
- October – SQ1, the first market condominium in Alexandra Park, recognized with an Award of Merit at the 2017 ARIDO (Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario).
2016
- Fall – Phase 1A construction completed. Phase 1B demolition begins.
2014
- February – Phase 1 demolition begins - watch the time lapse video of the changes. All residents impacted by Phase 1A redevelopment had been moved to relocation units.
2013
- November – Sales of market units launched for Alexandra Park.
- TCHC starts their partnership with Tridel for Phase 1.
2012
- February – TCHC Board approves selection of Tridel as development partner and business deal with Tridel for Phase 1.
2009
- Community group and Councillor approach TCHC to consider Alexandra Park as a potential Revitalization site.
