Making announcements of a loved one's death has always been a time-honoured tradition as life must be celebrated and not forgotten.
Deaths have been announced in various ways throughout the years but regional papers have been the main choice for a long time.
We regularly compile a list of notices which have appeared in the Huddersfield Examiner's death and funeral announcement pages throughout the week.
Below are all the announcements that have appeared in the Examiner since Monday, March 14.
